First time I have received a call from this number. Rang a couple of times then rang off.
Phone rang, no answer the other end apart from a beep, then the caller hung up. Sounds automated. This number going on the blocked list.

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.

He said his name David and calling from First Direct and ringing about the injuries I received in the accident I had last year . . cut him short to ask him for his mothers phone number, he ask why. Got several calls from this number today and yesterday - a new one not listed on this or any other phone spam-buster sites I checked. In the end, curiosity got the better of me just in case it was genuine and I phoned it from my Skype account. It didn t connect - but it did take ?2 (yes TWO POUNDS) off my Skype credit.
