This number called approx. 2.30pm stating in a recorded message that our credit card had been used fraudulently. £300 odd paid to Amazon. A £1000 odd paid out as well, from Scotland. This is the 2nd call today, saying exactly the same thing. The first from telephone01558810165.same recorded message at 12.30pm from Wales. A scam definitely.

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! This is a cold calling number being rerouted from India. They claim to offer a brand new mobile phone contract to iPhone users for £35/month, and they asked me how long I had my iPhone for (I don't have one). So I asked them where they got my number from. They claim to have my number on a database because I am a loyal customer. I asked them a loyal customer of what? My mobile service provider, they replied. Who is my mobile service provider, I asked. At which point they hung up. Block this number.

Automated call, has rung me 3 times (05/05). I rung back and it and nothing. Has now rung me twice this morning 09/05, I managed to pick up the phone, heard a very loud call centre in the background, and whoever called me hung up after a couple of seconds. Number is now blocked.
Extremely foreign individual - fairly incomprehensible!! Apparently advising refund due from BT, although quoting call as being from Sky. Asking for bank account to which the refund should be made.

Claimed to be able to save me money on my mobile phone bill. Claimed originally to be from EE, but that isn't my provider, he then argued with me about my provider - he eventually hung up. I always keep them talking as much as possible to save the next poor victim.
Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Kindly visit EnableYourIDUser.com to see more information on how to continue using your apple wallet." Apple would not be contacting me in the middle of the night (UK time) and certainly not on a UK mobile number. Just delete it straight away. Does not surprise me at all this is Russian l

If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back. I have had this number blocked since last year because it kept ringing and there was nothing there . It just came up again as a blocked call today.. and yesterday. It was not ghe number I had as a contact for Everest or Everest 2020.
