Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.

An asian sounding gentleman rang from this number, said has name was Daniel, and that he would only take up a minute of my time, and then wouldn t bother me again. He knew my name and postcode. I asked what it was all about, as I wouldn t give any information until then. He hung up.

this is automated call of Asian voice claiming to be BT internet is going to be cut off.
Called on Sat.19/9. Said it would take 2 mins. to do a survey. I agreed, but after c.6 mins. I told the Far Eastern-sounding man that his time was up and put the phone down. They then phoned back in ten mins and 1 hour later, but I didn t answer the phone. Accomplished liars irritants and time-wasters.
Answered and heard a lot of noise in the background but nobody spoke.
As soon as you answer, the caller shuts down so what is the point of them calling. nuisance value or to check whether you are in.No idea but these nerds are a menace to everyone.

One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. SCAM Took a few seconds to connect, then had the telltale click of a switchboard thing. Indian person saying they’re from [indistinguishable] asking how I was, I said I was fine thanks and asked how they were. They proceeded to say they have a deal with Vodafone and blah blah blah. I couldn’t be bothered to play along so I said no thank you and hung up.
