SCAM It says it’s from Royal Mail, and that you need to pay for a delivery. There is a link to pay to but don’t . Definitely a scam and are probably after your credit card details. The Link is. HTTPS://safe-help-hub.com It came as a text and I have reported it to 7726 which is the UK reporting of unwanted texts number.

Automated voice called today claiming to be from Amazon and saying our subscription had lapsed and a sum of money (£90?) was going to be taken from our acct.

Fraud - Indian call centre claiming to be from Vodafone. Hung up on me when I asked a couple of very basic questions.

Beware of possible malicious of Fraudsters trying to call you. I answered this call on my phone but no one replied on the other end when i said Hello. 01560 485445 This number has now been permanently blocked on my phone. Don't answer unless you know for definite who is calling you. Just my advice.

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

Cold call received mid-morning. Disrespectful, pushy and unprofessional. No contact from this local business ever before, yet rang using over-familiar approach and demanding to talk about IT and security contracts. No evidence of who they were, except their say so. The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.
