Received a text number with a link from this number stating Royal Mail has a package for me and that I need to pay £2.99. It’s the 1st day of the year 2022. I guess criminals don’t take a day off

took out 3 year policy back in 2016 my washing machine broke down last week got engineer out he said I need new washing machine as mine cant be fixed spoke to Applanceserve they said that my claim for new washer is with the claims dept but had no calls from them regarding new washing machine

Called me several times, insisting I had opted in. I used their website contact form to complain and to my surprise got a reply offering to tell me where they got my details, BUT for a fee of 10.00! They also said my numbers had been removed but they ve just called my mobile... They are now blocked. TPS/OFCOM/ICO are useless so long as these people can claim you have opted in. There needs to be a mechanism for checking and revoking opt-ins. Or better still make the default on all websites opt-OUT,

Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Had a call from this number on my Moby, I answered it and asked who they were. Fella said he was from a company that was enquiring if I had a Funeral Plan in place. Cold calling from companies that trawl the internet looking for innocent people like me who have inadvertently entered into legitimate competitions online and think that because I have entered my Moby Number to the competition company, that they can ring me. I blocked this number straightaway on my Moby.
