Call center. Caller said they were from 3 network, offering me a new phone contract. They finally hung up on me after a few minutes of me pretending not to know things about phones.

Called them back, sounded like a call centre but nobody spoke. They then hung up (Twice) Phone says the code is Gairloch in Scotland.
It is my BB provider and they ask me 2 charaters out of the security question I set up with them and my surname for data protection before discussing my account. I must say the person I spoke to was friendly and actually gave me a discount on my current deal, did not try n sell me more stuff which was good.

Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. Clue: You need people at YOUR end to speak to those who pick up. Amateurs!

Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks.
