Internet. The usual 'dangerous activity has been detected and your internet will be disconnected'. Third this morning, am tempted to press 1 and tell them to f off but I suspect that would just up the number of calls.

This is a scam. Number repeatedly calls, leaving broken voicemail message, starting: "...county courthouse" and inviting you to call back. On returning the call the individual answering identified themselves as HMRC and proceeded to ask for personal details. When I said I wasn't prepared to give any personal details over the phone, they told me to "get lost" and hung up. Be wary out there folks!
Supposedly from Microsoft wanting to know if I was the main user of the computer? When I asked why he said they have been getting a lot of notices and that my security software was being corroded. He asked when I'd last used the computer and when I said it was none of his business he said **** off a****** and hung up!

PaymentShield Harassment Calls Warrington Area Code 01925598604. This harassing company called PaymentShield calls me at least 3 to 4 times a day between 12:00 to 16:00. Do not give them your DOB or any other details, apparently it may be a scammer watch out. Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

Indian sounding male with very broken English. After the fourth time of asking I finally managed to decipher that he said he was calling from BT Openreach. When I said 'OK I understand now' there was a long pause as if he didn't know what to say next. I could hear someone in the background also saying 'This is BT Openreach'. When I asked him what he was calling about he just kept repeating 'This is BT Openreach'. I asked him if he had lost his script......and he rang off.
