calls all the time, becoming very very annoying..........

Called yesterday 19Aug by a women with a very strong Asian accent. She wanted me to turn on my computer as BT had requested her to help me with my router, that was showing a fault, and she could talk me through the repair. I asked her to call back in half an hour as I was busy. I then checked the number that she had called on and it was not recognised. Contacted BT and they confirmed that this was a scam.that

Call was from someone claiming to be from "the consumer unit" when I told him I wasn t interested and to remove my​ number from the database, he hung up on me.. How rude!!!

Called on Sat.19/9. Said it would take 2 mins. to do a survey. I agreed, but after c.6 mins. I told the Far Eastern-sounding man that his time was up and put the phone down. They then phoned back in ten mins and 1 hour later, but I didn t answer the phone. Accomplished liars irritants and time-wasters.

Have been calling me twice a day and now started calling my sons number?!?! He?s on my phone contract but they should have no reason to have obtained his number

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. The lady texted and said sorry for wrong text . upon asking she said she live in another country but has studied and worked in UK hence she has this number. Not sure if its trustworthy or not
