scam loft insulation, blocked this number and they rang again from a different but similar number. I reported both numbers to Ofcom
After asking politely around 5 times for them to remove me from there database I finally blocked the call from my mobile but now my phone still keeps beeping telling me that its just blocked the call so they will not stop, sometimes over 10 times per day, trading standards have been informed and if I am able to find out the companies details I will take them to court as I can prove via my call record harassment! So I personally hope they keep calling as it only adds weight to a lawsuit!!!!!!!!
Think this was a scam, it took a while to connect and then went through to a call centre. I asked who it was and then it hung up.
The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. With a call that early in the morning, I thought my son had been in a car accident or something :-(. Very unhelpful and distressing. No idea what's been going

Just had a call for this number - an automated message saying it was from HMRC and my name was linked to fraud. I had to press 1 to be connected to an advisor. Failure to do so would mean I would be arrested.....I'll take that risk.
Energy Green Deal - she said this was the company name though I can t find it on Google. Phoned to offer me a fully qualified surveyor to check my windows and doors for any unnecessary heat loss and just leave me that information, plus if there s anyone between ages of 58 and 85 living in the house we will also qualify for the funding , just to keep for the future as a sort of lifeline if you like if we do decide to change anything in the future. Called from “the financial institution” wouldn’t clarify who that was or where they got my data, she got very angry when I questioned her and accused me of “playing around” and “being very rude” and then hung up on me.
