Thanks to everyone on this website, I also received this text message glad I looked before replying to it

They called me and knew my name and address. Wanted to confirm this was me saying they wanted to send me a former for a tax over payment. They said they were HMRC and as they already had my detail and even pronounced my name right which surveys calls never do, I said send me the firm. Still not arrived. If HMRC it would come quickly and in their official brown envelop. Sceptical.

Usual rubbish about having a car accident, won t tell company name. Don t bother answering. Added to blocked numbers

Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. when i answrered nobody there then it clicked and somebody was talking to their collegue and not me told them to feck off and they hung up.

Typical situation. Just one of many numbers calling me that I don t recognise and won t answer so thought I d see if anyone else had already had a call as well.

Calls everyday at least twice - I have blocked them on my phone, finally, but I still get alerts to tell me when they ve tried to call - When I answered 3 weeks ago they hung up straight away. Do not understand this in the least and should be avoided by all costs - If you have an Android, get Truecaller - You can see the company name and have the option to block individual callers and register them as spam
