SCAM Call regarding criminal case against my name. They charge you when you call back

Flagging up as potential fraud

Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)

Tried to convince me there will be legal action taken against me for tax evasion and fraud. When I answered that I am unemployed they hung up

SPAM offered free house energy survey that would no doubt lead to pressure sales tactics

Tried scamming my nan saying it’s her son

07979532983 called 10May23 at t1:21hrs left msg on ansa machine same recorded message as was received ON 05/05/2023: 020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". SCAM Caller claimed to be Covid19 monitoring for the NHS, when I asked to clarify who they were, they cut the call. BLOCK THIS NUMBER. I do not know what their scam is, but it seems they are wanting your personal medical information.

Caller claimed to be from BT technical services. She told me that there were a number of people using my internet connection and there numerous errors. I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.

SCAM txt message from this number. Advising me I’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive. Please order a test kit: with a web address. (Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.

SCAM! Pretending to be a mobile company saying I was selected for a mobile upgrade. Then started requesting details from me that they should have on file. When I pointed that out, he pretended he didn't have access because a different department has access to such details. He did NOT greed me by name. IF he would have been legit, he'd have my name and know who he was calling.

Tclaimed to be paypal, all seemed fine untill he asked too many personal questions and then asked for the 3 digits from the back of my card, at which point the alarm bells went off. I cancelled the call

They are waiting 1 signal and switching off. No possibility to call them back. Most probably scam.

SCAM PayPal request for £799.77 stating the money had been sent and to call this number - the email may be from PayPal but the notes on the request certainly aren’t.

Called, rang off after some muffled sounds in the background. I dialled right back, and the number is NOT RECOGNISED, this is a spoof number and therefore spam or dangerous.
