I received a call from Chase Alexander from telephone number 07509701173. The guy had a Liverpool accent and stated I had had a road traffic road which is incorrect. They rang me a couple of times today. I could also hear laughing in the background, not professional and a very bad line. It s clearly a scam.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Gruff sounding guy claiming to be from Vodafone. Knew my name. I’d been chosen to receive better broadband. Didn’t sound like Vodafone customer service at all. Asked if I was the owner of property, could tell he was going to ask for my full details. Which I didn’t give. He got annoyed with me when I didn’t disclose any info. Sounded like a scam or fishing for my details.
