SCAM Recorded female voice stating that some account belonging to me (didn't catch what she said) had sent £600 overseas and this was a check to see if I had sent it. Press 1 for Yes it was me and 2 for no it wasn't. As it was clearly a scam, I did neither ! Strange that the search shows the number as being from Rothesay - which I'd always regarded as a prestigious place !!!

Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. Then immediately after I hung up the phone, the same number called back again and a different guy was on the line asking for the business owner again. Indian Call Centre (Surprise Surprise) Claimed to be from my Network provider - When i asked who? They Said "Virgin Mobile" - Im Not with Virgin Which i told her along with a few other choice words!
Its from Nationwide and they ask if you are ???? and if yes press 1 or 3 for no. My daughter left them and we have received 4 calls so far and she has not lived here for over 20 years!!

Phoned this afternoon. An automated voice declared that it was a call from "security at your bank", so at least the scammer doesn't even know which bank he is supposed to pretend to be. Allegedly, two probably fraudulent card transactions had been detected, one for £300 to Amazon and one of a transfer abroad of £1,100. A menu of options was read out, at which point I hung up.

The girl said "you don't even know what the call is about" I said can you take me off again she said "were just gonna keep calling you".

SCAM I don't know anyone from that part of the UK. I hadn't picked up the phone. Probably a call from strangers hoping that I'll return the call, which will have a huge fee, that goes directly to their bank account.

I believe this is a number possibly from Pure Cremation. I you have shown interest in arranging your own future cremation via your phone used and did not do so they will call you back on this number and another. I did not answer.

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.
