Calls and rings off. No idea who it is. No message left.
I've been getting at least 2 calls a day from these numbers that are one digit less than UK mobile numbers. I have let them all ring off, then blocked them but just get slightly different ones every day. Very annoying.

Automated call From local number. Message said fraudulent transaction has been found on VISA, press 1 to cancel this transaction. After hanging up at this point, the caller appeared to stay on the line for a couple of minutes to catch me making an outgoing call to my bank. Verified this by calling my landline from a mobile which rang engaged, a short time later I tested my landline again and it was clear.

Rang at 6.30pm - I didn t recognise number so let ansafone take it - they didn t leave a message. I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!). I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

SCAM / SPAM Claimed to be calling from EON Energy, then changed to Energy Serve Ltd based in Manchester. Calling from a London dialling code - pointed this out to the called who put the phone down on me.

These people call me at least 6 times a day. (They have been doing so for about 3 weeks). They are looking for someone I ve never heard of and I ve had this phone number for 14 years. I have called back repeatedly and told them and they have "promised" to take me of their "DIALLER" but they continue to call. No messages are left when I let the answer phone pick up the calls. I am at my wits end!

This number called me today - unsolicited - and asked me who I am. I asked who they are, and again they wanted to know who they were speaking to. They eventually said their name was either Raj or Rash. I said I don't know them, then hung up.
Caller said suspicious card transactions from Amazaon & International Company for £300 & £1000 respectively. Highly likely a scam!!!! However the above says it is a landline number?????
I m 99% sure its a machine collecting numbers to sell on to other companies. If it rings it puts the number on a database some people answer the phone with a name that s more details passed onto the database.
I called them back. Then I hanged up when I heard the familiar sound. "Your call is important for us..."
