Found a sticker marked "Privileged Customer Telephone Hotline - 0870 2410939" on the inside of a piece of vintage/collectable furniture. I was curious about the history of this furniture

This was someone pretending to want to renew insurance on the washing machine that they claimed was in my wife's name.

They keep phoning me from this number and hanging up, and I cannot get through to return the call - it disconnects. really annoying. wish someone could find out who these trolls are

I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. Keep phoning my number and I have asked to be removed from their database. They are very rude and put the phone down as soon as you request this. The phone number is 01782 930366.

I m 99% sure its a machine collecting numbers to sell on to other companies. If it rings it puts the number on a database some people answer the phone with a name that s more details passed onto the database.
