Will Not leave a message. I answered the phone 1 time and they knew my name and only said my name repeatedly. I’m from the USA and have no clue why an international UK phone number would be calling me

SCAM dont answer, if the scammer sees the phone is active, they will sell your number to spam call lines etc as an active phone. Stay safe folks

I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. Beware, very clever question structure to get you to reveal sensitive data.

Missed call I suspect attempted scam. I’m getting a rush of varied timeshare scam call from varied mobile numbers, this looks like the latest attempt. I usually just clear and block when sure it’s not a genuine call but recently I spoke to one and was terse so might have got myself flagged for more aggressive attention, or maybe I’m just paranoid.
