Yes you can block any number even on a landline here is the number if you're a BT customer 14258. iPhone also has a blocking service on 1-4 block shows in called number list straight away. Suspect it's Cognism or similar checking they have the correct mobile numbers for contacts they're selling. Ask for you by first name, then when you say it's you, they say a random surname and then claim they must have a wrong number.
