Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Called just before 11AM on Wednesday. Absolutely standard automated-female "Amazon" scam, telling me that my Prime charge of seventy-something Pounds is being renewed...

This number rang my home phone then when it went to answer machine they tried twice to put in a code to access my messages.

Credit check company. Tell them you re not interested and they continue to rant and rave over you. Told them it was an unsolicited call, the female has quoted the wrong law, she said good bye then waited for a response! aggressive mannerisms from the off and seemed to call for an argument!! Also didn t confirm the name of who the poor victim was she was calling for, just assumed I was it!!

I had this number, and all i do is turn my landline on silent and only use it as a one way call, and if someone gives you a rough time of calling you, you will see the light go on when they are calling or use the landline as a one way, calling out and your mobile to take calls, you can get phones that block numbers, and only let the ones you want through. Rang and hung up on answering.

Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

Calls then when you pick up and say hello - they hang up. You can call the number back but it s either engaged or a dead tone??? Very strange!!
