Automated male voice saying they from HMRC and that I'm being investigated for fraud, he states to press 1, if not a warrant will be issued and police will be attending to arrest me immediately.

Constantly phoning my mobile up to 4 times per day for the past week, stating i am entitled to claim PPI on finance i have had in the last 12 years, when i said i have never had any finance, he said well 12 to 20 years then, and i said i don t think you have any idea what age i am !!! However i continued to ask them to stop calling me and all he did was continually speak over me and i hung up the phone and just before i did i said i was going to be contacting the police.

Female caller, said she was calling about our BT account (we don't have one) then said it was because all lines are operated by Open Reach. Wanted to 'test the line' and see if we qualified for a discount. Finally said she was calling from One-Com. All very suspicious.

these people rang me 4 times and on 4th, I told them not to call again and remove my number but they hung up . 45 minutes later they rang a 5th time, so I used language they may more understand. Do not answer !!!!!

It's one digit too short to be a genuine UK number and London numbers don't start with 4 - only 3, 7, or 8 after the 020.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. And when we were having our tea, the house rang with this number and when we didn t answer it the mobile rang....this makes you think it is an urgent call???!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS! Robot voice pretending to be from BT, saying we have detected malicious activity on your IP address. Strange, as I aren t with BT, and ironic, as the call is a scam itself.
The guy just went straight into a script, no explanation of why he was calling or what the company were about. I put the phone down, "Grants" and Windows were mentioned.
