Someone called Alex phoned and said a nember of my family had been involved in a recent car accident. I said that wasn t true and he put the phone down. I ve been getting a lot of "you can make a claim" calls recently.

Why doesn t anyone do something about these calls? They really do annoy a lot of people and I am sure someone somewhere can stop these scammers. Why should we allow this to happen with the technology we have today? They are out to commit fraud and they should be stopped. So let us all get together and do something and just go along with whatever they ask but give them a lot of lies. JUst give them a false name and keep them on the line for as long as you can. I have received two calls on my mobile number how did 01437 608207 AMS Nationwide get my number? and had 'no incoming facilities' so I was not able to leave a message.

07938562508 - Prank call, male voice. Called twice, verbally harassing/swearing.

Similar to others. I received an unsolicited and illegal call asked if I was having nuisance calls. I asked, "Apart from this one?". He did not understand, and repeated his query. I gave same response. He still did not understand and asked again. I repeated my response. There was a long pause as his brain cell woke up and then he hung up. Trouble is, BT want you to pay to stop calls like this, when someone should be taking them to task, especially as we have the evidence.

This number appears to be from 2Touch, a direct marketing company. In my case they were calling on behalf of EDF Energy in response to a complaint, so it was a legitimate call.
