I m 99% sure its a machine collecting numbers to sell on to other companies. If it rings it puts the number on a database some people answer the phone with a name that s more details passed onto the database.

Got a text first thing in the morning saying my current contract had expired and I would receive a call later with and updated offers. Got the call from O2 on this number about 2 hours later.

Called me on my mobile and I didn t answer as didn t recognise the number. Looked it up here and saw it might be an Amex number. Called the legit number on the back of my card and they said no, it wasn t them, and they hadn t called me. Beware!

Called but left no message. The telephone number relates to the JCUH at Middlesbrough and I believe the call is to remind patients of an appointment at the hospital. When I phoned it back I was told to ring 01642 850850.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything.
