Was called yessterday...claiming to be able to stop nuisance call for £4 a month, but I could try it for only £2, funny the only nuisance call I had yesterday was from this number.

Automated call from "Jody Jenkins" of True Strive Company. Cold call re fictitious accident claim.

Calling at least twice a week. They never leave a name or message but constantly ring at lunch time or tea time. Phone guardian blocks the calls now - thank goodness!

A young woman informed me that i had been involved in a car accident and was this correct? I informed her i had not been in a car accident and that i was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and asked her to take my details off any Call lists and i bid her goodbye and promptly put the phone down.

Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

This firm leave a message claiming that I "opted into" receiving debt management advice. This is a lie. They are a very dubious organisation as they use an illicit identity and do not conform to recognised data protection or marketing standards.

Friendly voice (conning voice) asked me by name, then proceeded to say "I m calling about the car accident you recently had" - when I asked "what accident?" - she hung up.

Keeps ringing my landline when I answer no one there.

You've been in a road accident! Yeah right!

A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.

I keep getting phone calls from this number, it rings a couple of times and hangs up, Ive tried calling them but they hang up the phone.

This number called me today, said she was calling from the Nationwide Building Society. The female Indian caller knew my name, told me my postcode and asked me to confirm if it was correct. I told her I don t have an account with Nationwide and that she s a scammer after my personal details.... then hung up on her haha!

How the hell are these scum still calling me market telesales crap calls off Scottish Power have been calling for 3days & up to 15-20 times per day it s now 20:45pm & they are still calling regardless of the fact i have screamed NOT INTERESTED several times. Really like to know why they can call as I m private unlisted number plus I m registered on tps Opt out service...Extremely vexed off!!
