I don t have any credit cards. It was offering help paying off credit card debt of over 5000 pounds. It was quiet when I first answered then an automated message. No option to remove my number from the dialling list. Added it to my auto reject list instead.

Press one to speak to advisor. they Jam my phone line, so when I put phone down and try to block the last number. they ring thru to an advisor claiming to be Peter from Openreach. I put the phone down again, and they still on the call when I retry within 10sec.

I called the number back got through to a recorded voicemail advising it was not a sales call, it was a market researcher working on behalf of EE - I am an EE customer so seems legit.
Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. This is Warner marketing company. Line stayed silent but called back and the message stated Warner and that it was regarding taking part in a marketing survey.
Spam caller with no facility to ring back and talk to anybody. All you get is a musical tone.
