Phishing call, with an Americal recorder voice stating there was a problem with an Amazon order. I placed no orders. DO NOT press any number to continue with this call - Unsafe !!!
After a bit of sleuthing I ve found out that this number belongs to Verso Group, a telemarketing company. You can request to have your number removed from their database via [email?protected] or by calling their customer complaints team on 01582 763 090.
I had a call from this number, but went right to the answering machine. I won ? 2500. It could be heard in the background many different voices.

Call centre noise in background. Caller asked for "Mr or Mrs *my surname*" I asked who's calling, she said they're caling about the Health & Safety check for the loft insulation. Complete fiction. I told them they had the wrong number and to remove it from their system. Obvious data phishing scam.

This is a timeshare type company making offers that seem too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that appear to be too good to be true!!! When you ask to be removed from their list they refuse and get abusive. SCAM - phoned with recorded message about my NI being used fraudulently, then please hold for an officer.....then a foreign man answered said he is from the national fraud division...after me asking him a couple of pinpoint questions he hung up. Turns out the number is a vodafone mobile number.

Received call from 01438 811946 today at 11-50 am. Despite saying hello 3 times the caller rang off without saying anything
Caller claimed she was from BT and that other people were using my internet line. She wanted me to test something using my computer. She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.

SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.

He has children and he is working from home scanning innocent former customers of talktalk. Assholes in talktalk keep selling data of former customers and the list is never stop circulating. Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Columbia.
