Just had a very strange phone call to my mobile from 1135181884 a Leeds number telling me he was sending me 10 free goes on the national lottery, I asked what the catch was he said none . Said shall we send them to Slaithwaite Road I said yes then he said have a nice day . Has anyone else had this it is very odd. I wonder if I have agreed to some sort of scam

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. I received an automated voice message claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying that my Amazon Prime account will continue and that a sum of money would be removed from my bank account for this. SCAM silent phone call which is persistent. Make sure your internet connection is switched off before answering then continually press your cut off button to get them of the line. Double check that they have hung up or they may try and connect to your internet without you knowing.

Firstly HMRC will never call you and secondly I am still waiting for the police to show up at my door and arrest me for nothing. Utter nonsense. Don't be fooled by these calls people.
