I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???

Have had several calls from this number - 01618500044 - they say they are a company called RECLAIM FINANCE. I have never taken out finance so cannot be owed any compensation?! Automated Call ? Young male voice saying they're from Insulation Advisory Services, trying to get you to have a loft insulation survey. It's a clever automated system, that listens for you to say something in response to it's questions , but it is unable to react properly to your random questions. It fails the "Turing Test", but that doesn't make it any less annoying. They've phoned me 4 times in the last 2 days so far.
