Scammers!!!! They called my grandmother regarding a PPI claim, telling her in order to claim she would need to put £400 on a travel card (this was their agency 'commission' apparently), and they would come to her home (beware, they already knew her address) to exchange the travel card for her "PPI compensation cheque". Thankfully we've taught her well and she called me first to ask if I thought it was a scam.
On answering it was totally silent & then automatic voice said goodbye.
Some weird recorded message "...sent you an email, please check and ***** * * ** * *** * ...". Message started part-way through and was a lady with a foreign accent. Also had exactly the same call from a different number yesterday 0161 687 4127.

He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access.
