got call saying from HMRC saying there s an fraud case on me and that I would get arrested if I didn t press 1. I just hung up as ive seen comment from other people about the same thing. (how do people get off making calls like this)?

Female caller said I d had a bump 3 years ago according to their records which had come up on my insurance renewal. Load of rubbish - I ve not had an accident for over 20 years! PPI company, number showed up as based in Macclesfield. Never needed to look into PPI so they had no reason to call me. Just a company who has no doubt bought a list of data to harass people.
