Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Rang at 6.30pm - I didn t recognise number so let ansafone take it - they didn t leave a message. I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!). Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

Left two messages and asked to speak to a relation that has never lived here. I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.

Trustworthy caller - calling regarding a case that I had raised with an energy provider.

This number has called my mobile twice but left no message. The second time I answered it, there was silence and then the line went dead.

They ring me every day and always when I am trying to get my little one down to nap. Four days ago was the first call I picked up the phone the person asked who I was and replyed with "not who your looking for as I don t know this number, who are you?" and they hung up.
