I keep getting calls off these scumbags not answered so haven t a clue who they are. I have an ex directory number that only family members have so am pretty sure where these scum got my number from as I rang an indian take-away the night before the 1st call started so looks to me the number has been sold on to them, now also getting calls from Sydney. Called me saying there’s a tax fraud under my name hung up as I’m assuming it’s a scam

They called to say I had a minor accident in the last 2.5 years. When I asked what vehicle it was, they said they couldn t tell me because of data protection. I enjoy keeping them on the line while they waste their own time. Sometimes I tell them I m just getting the details and leave them hanging on. It stops them calling anyone else for a while until they get fed up.

The 0161 354 XXXX nos. have also been used with the 'HMRC lawsuit' scam, so any bets it's the same gang of scammers?
