Steve Star from some company offering legal advice and help. Asked if I d had an accident in the last 2.5 years or if someone in the family had. I asked him for the source of the information on me. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!

Rang, answering machine started, caller waited then hung up when we didn t answer.

(Another) automated call about bank PPI claims - I thought these were illegal? - if not they should be - a real nuisance.

Contact about a business matter no imformation given as address was for an area i had never lived.

The company is known as go4ukloans , they call you to tell you that you have been approved for loan that does not exist as they are not loan company but bunch of people who scam people to take money of them. They will ask you to make the first payment of your loan for the loan to be sent in your bank. Don t believe them. Don t send them any money !!

I had an absolutely identical phone call as Joanne. Number is from Credit Research and now blocked.

Not happy that I left mobile details for a quote on life insurance and as I did not answer mobile call they searched my home number.

Yes, it s another call insisting I ve had a non-fault accident within the last three years. Telling her she couldn t be more wrong obviously wasn t clear, as she pretty much insisted once more that I d had an accident in the last three years. Staying polite with these clowns is getting more difficult with each successive call. I had to hang up on her as she was being particularly thick.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Just had a phone call from this number, twice on my mobile and at home saying that the banks lied and I can get money on ppi. But dont know anything about them.

kept saying they were not selling butcarrying out a survey then started to ask personal questions. I then proceeded to fire questions back at them then I hung up.

The polite man with a Middlesbrough accent said my name was on the database and that it was possible that I was due money back from finance or credit in the past 10 years. Knowing that I have never had any insurance or anything connected to loans etc, I knew he was just fishing - so suggested this and he put the phone down. How he got my number is a mystery
