"James" from Shell. Called me out of the blue on my personal number. I asked why he called, said he didn't. Blocked.
Number is listed as uk, can’t pinpoint it. Hangs up, my provider says it’s spam dangerous,. Hangs up.
Scam. Saying they are calling from British Gas about our Electricity contract, we are not with BG, then goes on to say all the electrical companies you can think of, saying our bill has been incorrectly calculated. Rude!

The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. 2 calls to my mobile phone, both while I was out without it. No messages left, so I m assuming it s a cold caller.
Phoned my mobile. I phoned them back. Call came from a company called Fast Claim. Foreiegn sounding gentleman answered and said they d phoned re an accident I had. I asked them how could they know I had had an accident when they didn t even know who was calling them at this moment (hadn t given my name!). They hung up on me!
