SCAM robo call saying that there has been possible fraudulent activity on my bank account. When I questioned them they refused to say what bank they were, and that they were the 'fraud department'. They got angry so I called them out as the scammer they are and according to the scammer all UK people are idiots. Have reported it to action fraud.
Said to be from a bank, advising of international bank transfer of £!200. Wanted to click one number for cancellation or another for more information. No relevant details supplied.
Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. They said they were calling people who rented council property and asked if this was still the case with my house......which is a private house and always has been. Now blocked.
