Private number
Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.
This number keeps calling, from late evening. I only answered once & caller said it was for a survey about the Health Service Ombudsman. Although I declined to discuss anything this caller keeps 'phoning.
Recorded message saying "This is a call from the Future Planning Team. This is not an important call." It carried on but I hung up and blocked the number.
Said she was calling from a concert company but then went on to say she had just been informed that I d been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault. Ignore!
Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. I had a call from these people again today asking for my father. I politely told him that he was not here and I got "whys that" very appropriate I think not. Very rude man also chomping on his lunch whilst talking to me. These people need to be stopped as I am getting sick and tired of being spoken to like I am a piece of crap!!
