After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. Got a call on line 1 from the scammer (Asian male) who announce that my computer had problems!!! He was told in no uncertain terms to do something rather harmful to himself. Just called the number back having received calls from them every day for I don't know how long. Somebody answered in seconds and confirmed I would be taken off of the call...

said I should have had a letter from Eon about our new contract. The call info wasn t genuine: I didn t believe him. he requested I wait on the line for 30 secs. I politely refused and hung up.

I just received a call from this number by a male person of oriental descent alluding to be from the US Federal Government, some grant department in Washington DC. He notified me of my name being selected from a list of persons with no criminal record, no bankruptcy in the last 6 months and history of making payments ontime. I was told that a grant in the amount of US$9200.00 was mine if I go to a Western Union office and put US$250.00 in some kind of holding account with my personal ID number.
