Indian person saying they’re from [indistinguishable] asking how I was, I said I was fine thanks and asked how they were. They proceeded to say they have a deal with Vodafone and blah blah blah. Call center: Lady saying she wanted to ask questions about my general household. The line was awful and I couldn't understand what she was asking me. I believe she may have said something about my washing machine, but can't be 100% certain. I put the phone down as she was too hard to understand and the line was very quiet.

Highly likely a scam.....apparently I've just be billed £399 for an iPhone 7 on Amazon ! Haven't got Amazon anyway. I didn't listen to the rest of this concocted drivel and just hung up. I suspect they'd ask you to press a button and my telephone would be billed for the privalege.
SCAM Aggressive man called - had wrong name and said I had a warranty on my washing machine that was about to run out. When I politely explained I wasn't the person and we didn't have a warranty he was abusive. This is a scam. Block them.
