SCAM it is a man who comes from a date app and start texting and says he loves you and want to marry you then he suddenly has a new contract job in Asia (Malaysia) but he requests your address because he will send some gifts and when he come back from his "mission job" he will buy tickets to visit wherever you are. Then you text and the number has been blocked and he mysteriously vanishes from the earth. Be careful.

SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Caller claimed to be from “…mumbled words… breakdown service” and announced that “this call is about your renewal payment”. For the service I didn’t know I had.

Ordered an item online from a shop called markdesk/shift4shop.com. No delivery, no replies to emails and no answer in the phone calls. Avoid!!!
Indian voice said from Microsoft. Told him to get lost. He said that because I was uncooperative he was going to block my computer, he was full of threats. That got me really going and I told him to get on and block it (there is NO way he could). After me making more comments to him he rang off. I think this is probably a Nigerian scammer who has been able to tack himself onto an English telephone number.
