SCAM Called to say my home appliance cover will be discounted. Gave the name of Chris Jones and a contact number of 08007789104. Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. Had a call from this number on my Moby, I answered it and asked who they were. Fella said he was from a company that was enquiring if I had a Funeral Plan in place. Cold calling from companies that trawl the internet looking for innocent people like me who have inadvertently entered into legitimate competitions online and think that because I have entered my Moby Number to the competition company, that they can ring me. I blocked this number straightaway on my Moby.
They ring all day in till u block them i had 14calls in 1hour

This number is from a so called migration agency for Australian visa that is a scamm, myself was scammed with almost 2000? for a visa
I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

Surely to goodness someone, somewhere, has got to put a stop to this. Who is paying for all these claims? Us, in our high insurance costs of course. It is pissing me off, big time. Stop phoning me - I was not hurt, but it is getting to the point where perhaps I should claim just to stop these calls. Two bleeding years I have been fending off these damned nuisance calls.

Called from this number -- long pause before a woman (don t think it was automated because there was background noise) said something about Motor Satisfaction Surveys Opt Out that I d apparently contacted them about (which I haven t) and told me to ring some number which she read out so fast I couldn t catch it.
