Keep phoning saying that they have a missed call from my number when I haven't called them. Number is prefixed with +44 so not even sure they are in this country. Annoying and now blocked.
Call center noise in background. Nobody on the line at first. When she said "Hello" I hung up. A time waster. Looking at the stats for this number can't it be shut down?
SCAM 01772 (Preston Area) 791710 called at 11.15am, recorded message saying "card provider alerting unusual payments to Amazon & Universal Credit Transfer, Press 1 to accept / 2 to decline" But didn't say which card provider and didn't say how much the transactions were. Hung up and rung number back to get message "you have dialled a incorrect number". 99% certain this is a scam. None of my cards have this area code for card enquiries .
SPAM: I received two consecutive missed calls from this number which were minute apart. Phone rang once and ended. Same number called again which only rang once again. Eventually had about 5 calls a day from this number. never answered as my caller id said it was from jersey otherwise I would ve picked up a mobile number. rang them a few times before only for it to be cut straight off. eventually got through, threatened them with personal harassment and dealing with contacting me using unsolicited information. asked them to remove me off their system as politely as possible. fingers crossed that s all.

Called asking for the man next door who I know has a debt as he has given my address and many letter have arrived here for him, which I take next door. It is to do with a parking ticket and I have had bailliffs at the door too and told them where he lives. Therefore I think this is a legitimate call. But they wouldn t say how they got my number and I m really fed up about the number of times I am being bothered about someone else s problem.
