Utility provider that supposedly specialises in smart meters.... missed numerous calls from them for around two weeks. Answered today offering information on switching, when I declined and asked for my number to be removed from their database they decided to argue with me about why I did not want to switch. Rude and Strange. I don’t think it is even a legitimate company. Be wary!

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.

Answered the phone a couple of days ago to someone shouting "f**king c**t" down the phone from this so called professional insurance advice group! Called again about ten minutes ago confronted them about this and they were very aggressive towards me said there company is professional and wouldn t do such things. The caller says they are from the Royal Mail and that I have a package being held in Central London. They want payment to release it. The cost is minimal but felt like a scam. Asked them to send me an email. On receipt, it definitely looks like a scam. I think if postage is underpaid, you get a note to say so through the mail. I'm marking it as dangerous as my gut tells me this is a phishing attack but I can't confirm.

I have TPS but get constant cold calls and this is one number that keeps popping up. When you ask them who they are they hang up but they are tring to sell a landline contract.

While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. They must be pestering thousands in this way for their own selfish gain. I will breathe a sigh of relief when they are prosecuted.
