They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. Caller said he was from the 'Road Traffic Department', in order to sound like an official call, Eventually after I quizzed him about the Road Traffic Department he said they had information that someone at the address of my telephone number had had a road traffic accident in the last two years.He said, "Is this correct?" I said that if he was from the Road Traffic Department he would know if it was true or not. (No one has.) He then hung up. Ambulance-chasing scam artists!
