It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Their aim is to persuade me to believe their lies and allow them to infect it with something that would be very serious if I fell for their story that they represent Talk Talk or B.T. It varies. A company called from 01325612456 about industrial illnesses. When I asked them not to call me again and to take my number off their database they immediately hungup.

Male with indian accent said he was from BT, then asked whether I was a BT customer, after asking him why he was calling me, he rang off. In my opinion it was a scam call.

Many calls during the day. Some unanswered. When I did get to speak to someone, they asked for Mr John living at a completely different address. I told them it wasn t me and they hung up immediately. On subsequent calls, I kep asking them to stop as I am not mr John. They just hang up. I m on TPS and ex-directory.

Even not picking up the call, these scammers continue to have rung every day for the past 2 weeks. Will they even stop...and TPS, well don t want to know!

When I asked him for the identity of the PC and its serial number so I could identify which of the 200 PCs at my location was the issue he blathered a bit and then when I asked him which of the Police Constables he wished to speak to he hung up.
