He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Suspected scam. I had a call from 07932918018 this morning. A recorded message said I had unusual transactions on my bank account. I was than put through to an "operative" who asked for my name and date of birth. I hung up at this point and will check with my bank.

Fraud Automated system that tells you your card has been used and to cancel it press a number to speak to someone. always inform your card's fraud dept when you get one of these calls, give them the details of the call including the phone number and the date/time of the call along with the number that you were contacted from so they can get it investigated.

recorded message stating bank security with 2 charges to bank for amazon pure scam

SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. i've missed several calls from this number (or numbers where just the last number is different). They ring but then hang up very quickly and never leave a message. This is exactly what i would expect from some sort of scam/nuisance caller

Purporting to be from bank Fraud Department but no specific bank named. Advising that purchases on Amazon for considerable amounts of money have been made. Asking to press one of two choices to get help.

01214 306470 called me on Monday 22 Aug 2022. An automated message with a male voice advising, "This is an urgent message from your bank. Two payments have been taken from your account ..." I hung up. A dangerous FRAUD CALL.
