SCAM: 07770 034516 is a recorded message claiming to be from the National Crime Unit & that your National Insurance number has been suspended & that you need to click 1. Like other similar scams it is an attempt to scare individuals into giving personal & financial details over the phone.

Called me claiming to be from Sky, informing me that malicious individuals are trying to hack my router. I played dumb and allowed them to get to the part where they wanted me to install TeamViewer to gain access to my computer. I gave them an earful about preying on vulnerable people, but it will have had zero effect; I just hope I cost them more money in call charges than they were expecting.

when answered they used my name, but I asked what the call was about and they hung up. I rang them and asked what they wanted and was told that it was nothing to do with them.

Telling I had reported trouble with my computer, I asked which one and they said my laptop. Told them I did not have a laptop, they then hung up.
I had send a mail to HSBC and this number rang me back to discuss the matter. The woman on the other end of the line wanted me to confirm my e-mail address and then answered my query. So unless someone hacked the e-mail system of HSBC, I m pretty sure it s a legit number.

Had a call from this number just now. He said that he is from EE and started asking a lot of questions about my contact with EE. The sort of phone I am using, how long the contract is,...etc., I got suspicion because EE should have all those details without having to ask me especially as I am still in contract with them. Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.
These people want you to answer consumer questions about household goods so they can sell your information to third parties for the purpose of sales. Just don t answer if you ve any sense.
Received a text message from this mobile purporting to be from DVLA advising that my car tax is overdue and to click on a link to prevent further penalties. my car tax is not overdue , double checked separately to gov website to make sure payment received last month
