My Husband answered they said they were from Direct Line? - then hung up!!! I rang Direct Line - they have record of making to a call to me!!! Melissa called twice saying that they needed to check the insulation in our loft because we had it done under the government scheme (we didn't) and now the regs had changed and it needs to be checked.When I told her that I'd done it myself about 35 years ago and wasn't going to have anything else done, she said she'd alter the information on the database. I told him, no thank you, I wasn't interested, he kept trying to talk over me and I hung up. A few seconds later he rang back asking why I hung up. Claims direct...... regarding recent accident .... Pointed out to them that by storing my information without my consent and cold calling me is illegal and advised they should remove all traces of me from their database and I will be reporting this company. This is the second time in a week they have called even after I requested they remove mt details on the last call. Guy got very edgy pleading with mr not to report this and apologised.
