called wanting to speak to me and my wife about reviewing our life insurance. I told them they were cold calling, they said no, they are brokers. Before I could say anymore they said they would call me back and hung up. Quite pushy
An extremely rude man (possibly antipodean accent) identified himself as being from the "Credit Protection Association", asking for our MD. My request for the reason for his call was met with abuse, so I ceased conversing with him. When I phoned back the number to make a complaint, I was met with a recorded message telling me I had received a marking call from the Credit Protection Association before it disconnected my call.
Used a fictional name on a comparison website, but used my real number, now getting called asking for my fictional name to say they have send an email and I should open it ?
