Caller stated they were from virgin media and there was corruption on my router, they stated they would disconnect my internet due to the corruption if i didnt let them help me fix it. I have since called virgin media who confirms they have not called me

A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. Called and stated I have purchased something at the value of £700 pound and also another transaction it is a recorded message woman's message asking me to press 3 for customer support. I have no idea was it is about and using massive scam tactics.

Rang today claiming to be from the British Gas metering team. I asked them to prove it by providing my account number. Gave me a string of numbers - not my account number. Foreign accent.

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). Caller claimed to be from BT technical services. She told me that there were a number of people using my internet connection and there numerous errors. I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.
