The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.

Continually calling even when their "services" are politely declined.Certainly doesn t instill any confidence in their ability to do anything as they clearly can t LISTEN to a flat no thank you!! Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

Caller offered free insulation and claimed to be a Govenment Advisor she was very coy when I asked if they were a Government Agency though truthfully answered no. This was the second time they have called and I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take me off their marketing list the first time.

But then after thinking about it I realised I didn t take out a loan at that time . they sent out forms and I haven t filled them in . they ve rang non stop ever since. The man was very pushy telling me to remember what I m telling you regarding dates of this non existing loan. Am I doing the right thing??.
