I was called today at 2.46pm by this number. Nobody spoke to me at first but I could hear an asian(?) conversation in the background.I should have hung up but didn t.i said hello and a male said go f*** yourself you f*****g b****[email protected] . Shocked, I said I beg your pardon and he repeated it!! I then heard someone say hang up, I did, but not before I fired off a few choice phrases of my own. I was surprised to see that apparently the call originated in Wolverhampton!!!

Has called several times but I have a speaking phone which tells me the name if it s someone I know, and if unknown, it tells me the location or number of the caller. I did not recognise the number so each time, I ignored it.

Caller claimed to be from Talktalk legal dept in London, despite being Birmingham number. Said they needed to connect me to their server to investigate illegal access from abroad. Tried to talk me through downloading Teamviewer and give him the ID and password! Rang off when I said I would report to police.
Identified as Your Mortgage Review Intimidating mature lady caller encouraging me to change my mortgage to one with a lesser interest rate given that we re in a climate of low interest rates.. She started off with little information on me but I did tell her my current lender. Then questioned me as to why I am staying with them given that they re charging such high interest. SCAM Said they were BT, and our line was about to be cut off. So, not neutral folks, it's a scam. They can cut our BT landline if they want. We're in Hull on Kingston Telecom, so no BT landlines here. Their office location is said to be in London, on or close to Trafalgar Sq. ... so very close, the Met could pick them up. But somehow doubt that will happen.
Scam. Automated Voice saying HMRC started a fraud investigation against the receiver of the call.
A call well away from the area I live, claiming to be dealing with energy supplies in my area, and problems with Government grants for loft insulation, but a problem has been found causing damp and mould in the loft insulation. An offer is made to check and replace the loft insulation, to then be charged for work that is simply not required.

the same as pete these dreadful scammers should be stopped the calls are intimidating with demand for money in my case £149 got a reminder for payment this morning have sent it back to the address (which on tracing seems to be a private house which is up for sale) return to sender, have reported this to trading standards and citizens advice was given the number for action fraud

Keep calling even tho I didn t answer, when the son accidently answered cos I wasn t near the phone he told me who thery were. It is no use you asking/telling them to remove your number because they don t. I actually changed my number for this reason, and guess what? today they tried ringing my new number. It is now set to block and no matter what you tell them they just keep trying.
