silent call ended by a recorded "good bye". Had this before and it was followed by a Microsoft scam call

I did not catch the name of the company but they reported Ihad been in an RTA and asked me to confirm. I asked them to confirm the date and they refused so I explained that I had short term memory loss and they would have to remind me when it happened. They put the phone down!!

Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. Did some digging and found this warning on facebook: *ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESSES* Had a call from this company earlier today, trying to sell me advertising space on GP surgery appointment cards... from looking online i m assuming its some kind of scam debt collector, i don t tend to pick up phone if i don t know number, but i checked number online in case it was job centre or something, but apparantly its some kind of cold caller, waste of time talkin to these ppl if in fact u get to talk to a real person, most of time its auto msg and u get asked to call back, not happenin

called and left a voicemail for my mum (she owns the 3uk contract account for my phone)and asked her to call them back on the same number. seems a bit suspicious to me though because they have never called before even when we were behind on a payment, other people said all they hear is silence which wouldnt happen for official 3uk customer advisors calling people and the woman was barely understandable - she was obviously an indian call centre person

Rang telling me that I had had a bump on the road and would I like to claim for this. When I said I hadn t had a crash they said Oh, our records state you have, could we be confusing you with someone else in your household? - to which the answer was again no. When I asked her to remove my number she hung up on me.

I questioned if he was really from citizens advice (clearly wasn t from the off!!) he told me to Go F**K yourself This verified it wasn t CAB calling at all :-)
